888T Coburg Leisure Centre – Specialist Aquatic Public Pool Filtration and Refurbishment Works

Moreland City Council is seeking a specialist Contractor to replace pool filtration system and undertake pool refurbishment works at the Coburg Leisure Centre in Coburg.

The scope of works entail design and construction to upgrade the existing filtration infrastructure for both the 25m and program pools (learners and toddlers) to a more efficient system, reducing waters usage and improving water quality. Pool shell painting and minor repair works for both 25m and program, pools (learners and toddlers). The works are to be undertaken as a design and construction contract. 

The is located at  Bridges Reserve, Coburg access off Russell Street. 

Please note:

Mandatory site visit to be held on Tuesday 18 February at 2.00pm sharp. If contractors DO NOT attend the site visit, their tender submission will be deemed NON-COMPLIANT and not be evaluated. 

Site Location:  Bridges Reserve, Coburg.  Please meet in foyer of the Leisure Centre.

Tenderers to note: 

Tenderers must respond by submitting their tender proposal and completing the documents as instructed in the Request for Tender (RFT).

Tenderers are reminded that a tender is submitted via “Lodge Response” tab and clicking on “Upload File” box. It is preferred if all tender files are compressed (zipped) under one file name and uploaded as one or single file response.  A tender is not submitted until (1) the “Save” button is selected, and then (2) “Press to Finalise your Online Bid” is pressed.  Submissions will only be accepted via Council’s etendering system with a referred maximum data Upload File of 20Mbyte.

Tenderers are reminded to view the “Forum” for any public notices or addenda in regard to this tender.  All communication regarding the tender must be submitted via the forum on this site only, and will not be accepted via any other means. Queries submitted three (3) working days before the tender closing date, may not receive a response.  Council Officers are not to be contacted directly. 

It is the responsibility of the tenderer to ensure that tenders are received by the closing date/time, late submissions will not be accepted.
